Muhammad Ali made it look easy. Sometimes effortless. Always graceful. He didn't often seem to be working. People often joked after a fight: "He didn¹t even break a sweat."
But the man worked hard.
Not that he liked it. "I hated every minute of training, but I said, 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.' ''
A man who loved to be among others, he was willing to do the solitary work that physical training demanded. Ali's determination and discipline are inspiration for us all.
